Assessment Best Practices

We try to make our software as easy-to-use and approachable as possible, but there are still some best practices that will help you make the most of your subscription. 

Best Practices for the Baseline Assessment 

• The Baseline Assessment (~15 initiatives) is designed to give you an initial idea of points & where you stand with sustainability
• It should take you about 30 minutes to complete
  • We encourage you to go through the Assessment with anyone who is currently or will be working on your sustainability program
• The Assessment initiatives are also included in the general library of initiatives
• We currently have “yes” or “NA” as options in the Baseline Assessment
  • If you check NA it will still show up in the list of available initiatives in the initiative library
• Click on the question to see more information about the initiative if you are unsure about whether you have met the criteria
• Once you complete the Assessment, be sure to go through the library of initiatives because there may be more focused initiatives not included in the Assessment
• You can always go back to the Assessment
• We encourage you to record your initial score as a baseline to reference in the future
• We encourage you to reassess yearly to reset your baseline and see progress year over year
