About the Assessment

It’s difficult to see how far you’ve come if you don’t know where you started, so that’s why we created a Baseline Assessment. 

The Baseline Assessment is designed to help you assess your current sustainability standing and create a baseline so you can look back and see how far you've come down the road! You'll get points toward your certification for initiatives you've already completed, and gain insights on new initiatives you should prioritize. 

The Assessment contains a sample of 15 GBB initiatives. We carefully selected these initiatives to cover general areas of sustainability and basic actions that any organization may implement as they’re getting started with their sustainability program. 

Determining whether you have completed these initiatives will give you a good understanding of your current sustainability program’s maturity. The Assessment should take about 30 minutes to complete. 

You can use this Assessment however it best suits you. Either complete it once, regularly go back and update your progress, or revisit it year over year to reset your baseline.
